Outdoor Facilities

The school has its own very spacious grounds. All of the classrooms have large south facing windows which look out onto the wide paved terrace, the playing fields and gardens. We have recently developed the paved terrace outside the classrooms into an outdoor learning environment that all of the children can access in all weather conditions.

The grounds also include a fitness trail, a maze garden and a tyre park, with a pond and meadow area to encourage the children to learn about nature. In the summer the sports field is marked out with lines and pitches for a variety of games. The grounds and the local surrounding areas are used extensively to provide a stimulating outdoor learning environment. The staff are committed to using the grounds and local environment to support the learning of the children.

We have a playground with games painted on the tarmac. It also has a variety of climbing equipment and quiet shaded areas. The Nursery has its own outside area with a climbing frame and trim trail, and its very own street.
